Arts Against The Cuts

1 Dec

The Slade School of Art has been occupied, which means there are now two buildings occupied at UCL!

Students at The Slade are planning a weekend festival of art and dissent (title TBA), between Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th December. They are  inviting all arts students and lectures and other demonstrators from across the city to take and offer workshops and training. The idea is that there will be a call to bring art for a ‘public view’ on Friday night, and then workshops and a planning for a large group action in the city.

Ideas for workshops are already being developed, and the event is supported by The Laboratory for Insurrectioanary Imagination

More details and ways to get involved can be found on their blog here.
